Great article! I have purchased Frankenstein from the Providence College group of Catholic educators who have an online reading of it with analysis. My last two children will be “juniors” in homeschool next fall and I am wondering if the Ignatius Critical Editions as an adjunct may be over their heads? (Sounds like it may be over MY head too!) We have read many thought-provoking literary works, but providing them with decent literature that won’t put one to sleep is a real challenge in homeschooling high school—especially with boys!
